  • * ADVOCACY for practical renewable energy solutions:
SSP members and board members helped change WA state law to allow qualified Solar Hot Water systems to be sold free of sales tax.

The movie, “An Inconvenient Truth” calls upon each one of us to take positive actions to reduce greenhouse gases. Not all of us can afford to put SOLAR on our houses, but we all can help by supporting Shoreline Solar Project's work in our community.

Please contribute generously. SSP's programs are local, but our impact is important on a global scale. Like the old saying goes: “Think Globally, Act Locally.” We've accomplished a lot in 3 short years, but we've got a lot more to do:

  • Neighborhood Energy Audits
  • Local Solar projects
  • Biodiesel school bus project
  • 4th Annual Renewable Energy & Sustainable Living Fair (July 21, 2007)
  • Renewable Energy education materials
  • Energy Efficiency and Conservation programs
  • Community Educational programs
