Call for Speakers
Speak Out on Climate Change

Climate Change is the defining issue of our time. The 17th NW SolarFest focuses on climate change impacts and solutions.

We are holding an event at NW SolarFest called Ignite NW SolarFest.

So — if you are a high school or college student we want to hear your stories.

We want you to pitch us your best, most thought-provoking idea for a five-minute talk about anything related to climate change. It could be a personal story that others can learn from, an idea you are excited to share, an approach you think is working well.

Since 2006, Ignite Seattle has held nearly 30 events that bring together Seattleites for fast-paced, five-minute talks.
Ignite presenters use 20 slides with each slide timed to appear for 15 seconds.
Their motto is “Enlighten Us, but Make it Quick!”

Twelve of the most compelling pitches will be chosen and we will work with those presenters to make their five minutes on stage shine.
